THE ‘OPENING WEDGE’ AND ‘RIGHT ARM’ OF THE THIRD ANGEL’S MESSAGE

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

THE ‘OPENING WEDGE’ AND ‘RIGHT ARM’ OF THE THIRD ANGEL’S MESSAGE

“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves of all filthiness of the flesh and the spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord.” 2 Cor. 7:1, KJV.

“What know ye not that your body is the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit which [Who] is in you, which [Who] is in you, which [Who] ye have of God, and ye are NOT your own? For we are bought with price [purchased by His life, redeemed by His blood]: therefore glorify God in your BODY [flesh] and in your spirit, [both of] which are God’s [not ours].” 1 Cor. 6: 19, 20.

The genuine health reform [as there are many counterfeits] is the opening wedge of the first, second, and third angels’ messages, in that order. Rev. 14: 6-12. We have been discussing pithy and vital aspects of the third angel’s message and it is necessary to be reminded that the “opening wedge” is in order not only to be physically healthy and be better armed, immune-system-wise, to deal with all kinds of diseases and illnesses but more importantly, to enhance our spiritual discernment and perceptions. Daniel and his three young Hebrew friends prepared for the startling tests and trials and history-changing events that were coming to them of which they had no inkling. But because they faithfully followed God’s instructions without doubt, murmuring, complaining, or hesitation (as their forefathers shamelessly did in the Exodus), under the most unfavorable surroundings and intimidating circumstances as captives denied all rights, the shining record of their quintessential examples as profiles in faith and courage, helped fulfill God’s plans for the nations then and now. They are preserved in God’s Word as an instruction and guide for God’s people throughout all the generations thereafter to be reviewed throughout eternity.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob “who changes not” and “whose Word is forever settled in heaven,” is verily “God in Christ” who is “the same yesterday, today and forever” [not merely tomorrow!].

Thus what the omnipotent and omniscient Creator designed man to be, who alone was “made in the image, and after His likeness” before the fall and well nigh lost after the fall through the curse of sin, is what are restored by the grand plan of salvation from sin of the everlasting gospel.

That the very first test of loyalty administered by their Creator in holy Eden was on appetite and desire, was in no sense whatsoever arbitrary neither by chance nor an afterthought. It was by omniscient foresight and wisdom of the divine Mind.

What Adam and Eve, the parents of mankind were tested on is the same one mankind, particularly those who expect to have free access once more to the tree of life and inherit eternal life, have and are being tested on. This is a very basic requirement in preparing for the second coming of Christ. If is included in the triumphant description of those who receive the seal, the name of the Father in their foreheads: They “that overcome the flesh, the world, and the devil.”

Tomorrow we consider some obvious highlights of the health reform—the opening wedge and right arm of the third angels’ message. Are you ready and willing to consider and accept it, in the light of what is rapidly unfolding in the world at this very time? I hope and pray you will do, but only willingly and voluntarily. God bless, NMF

The Battle for the ‘Present Truth’

The Battle for the ‘Present Truth’

“Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in present truth.” 2 Peter 1: 12 (see verses 1-11), Authorized Version

Jesus Christ, God Creator in the flesh (John 1: 14; 1 Tim. 3: 16) declared, “I am the way, the truth and the life,” John 14: 6. “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, If you continue (abide) in My Word, you are My disciples indeed, and you shall know truth, and the truth shall set you free.” John 8: 31, 32.

In the plan of salvation the “good news” of the gospel is that Creator of man, condescended in the incarnation to become the Savior of mankind, fallen by sin and hopeless captives of Satan, by delivering, “setting them free” by His life example as a man, “tempted in all points as man is tempted yet without sin,” and by His death on the cross as their substitute and surety from, not in, the power and bondage to sin which is “the transgression of the law (1 John 3: 4). Hence the specific name given Him at His birth, “Thou shalt call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.” Matt. 1: 21. Notice here that while Jesus died for the sins of the world, He saves His people from their sins! That is the truth.

FAITHFULLY ENDURE TO THE END

MID-WEEK MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

January 22 2020

FAITHFULLY ENDURE TO THE END.

“As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of man.” Matt. 24:27,28.

“He that endures to the end the same shall be saved.” Matt. 10:22.

“As Noah proclaimed his warning message, some listened, and worked with him in building the ark. But they did not endure. Evil influences prevailed. They turned away from the truth and became scoffers (2 Pet. 3:3).

Thus it shall be in the last days of this earth’s history. Those who today hear the message of truth, but do not believe, will fall amid the MORAL infidelity, even as in Noah’s day those who were not FIRMLY grounded failed to stand till the end of their probation.

God’s Prophets Demystify His Mysteries at their Appointed Time but Especially Today

“Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” Amos 3: 7, N.K.J.V.

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed belong to us and our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deut. 29: 29. “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Prov. 29: 18, K.J.V. The NKJV reads: “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint.”

Ecumenical Movement Entering its Penultimate Stage

“Jews, Evangelicals reach out to Sunni Gulf Arab leaders.” This was the headline of a news story simultaneously appearing and similarly titled in at least 32 news outlets on Tuesday this week. The editorial boards/staffs of these news outlets unitedly perceived its newsworthy nature– from whatever angle, agenda, and editorial policies each had that determined its value.  Should we be interested too? And how much?

What Happened to the Movement Linking the Exodus and Advent Movements?

Friday Morning Manna                 January 11, 2019

What Happened to the Movement Linking the Exodus and Advent Movements?

“Thus says the Lord: Keep My justice, and do righteousness, for My salvation is about to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.” Isiah 56: 1, 2, N.K.J.V.

We saw that the Protestant Reformation Movement was the connecting link between the Exodus in the Old and the Advent Movement in the New Testament.  God commanded the gospel prophet, Isaiah, to declare then and more specifically in in its antitypical application: “Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet. Tell My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.”

The Elijah-John the Baptist Message of the Advent Movement

The Elijah-John the Baptist Message of the Advent Movement

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”Malachi 4: 5, K.J.V. (The last prophecy of the Old Testament)

To start this New Year 2019, let’s take a necessary stop as it were, as we travel the Advent Movement highway to take a much closer look at vital aspects of the appointed work and central message entrusted to the last-day Advent Movement.

First, in Christ’s time the disciples and the religious leaders and people alike were familiar with  Malachi’s stirring prophecy. So the disciples inquired, ‘Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?” Christ replied, “Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already.” After more explanations from Christ, “Then the disciples understood that He spake of unto them of John the Baptist.” Matt. 17: 10-18.

The Seven Thunders Paved Way for the Fulfillment of The Parable of The Ten Virgins

Friday Morning Manna                November 30, 2018

The Seven Thunders Paved Way for the Fulfillment of The Parable of The Ten Virgins

“While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.” Matthew 25: 5-7, K.J.V.

There are forty parables of Jesus on record. Undoubtedly more were unrecorded as suggested in this scripture:  “And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to bear it. But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explainedall things to His disciples.”Mark 4: 33, 34, N.K.J.V.

Parables and prophecies share a common denominator: both employ symbols, metaphors, and numbers to teach salvation-vital lessons firstenfolded within. “In its time” (Eccl. 3: 1, 11) their meanings are unfolded to all truth seekers and both the keys and opportunity to unlock/unseal these prophecies/parables are given to each pertaining generation.
