I LONG FOR THAT ‘BETTER COUNTRY,’ HOW ABOUT YOU?

“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off [by faith] were assured of them, embraced them, and confessed that they were STRANGERS AND PILGRIMS on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a HOMELAND. And truly if they had called to mind that COUNTRY from which they had COME OUT, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a BETTER, that is, A HEAVENLY COUNTRY. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called THEIR GOD, for He has prepared a city for them.” Heb. 11: 13-16, NKJV.

In John 14:1-3 Jesus promised His faithful disciples that He would prepare mansions for them. “A fear of making the future inheritance SEEM TOO MATERIAL has led many to SPIRITUALIZE AWAY the very truths which lead us to look upon it as our HOME.”

“Christ assured His disciples that He went to prepare mansions for them in the Father’s house [the “third heavens” itself]. Those who accept the teachings of God’s Word will not be wholly ignorant concerning the heavenly abode. Human language is inadequate to describe the REWARD OF THE RIGHTEOUS. It will be known ONLY to those who behold it. No finite mind can comprehend the glory of the Paradise of God.”

THE MANY “OTHER GODS” OF THIS WORLD

“Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.” Many do not realize that they are actually worshiping “other gods.” The work of the Holy Spirit is to change our carnal minds and hearts, which “are at enmity towards the law” into a new heart and a new mind having a new spirit in order to seek after, grasp, understand and love the wisdom of God, truth and righteousness.

Satan, in disguise, promised the mother of mankind that in disobedience she would “become like gods.” She yielded to this self-pleasing, self-exalting temptation by Lucifer, himself fallen to become Satan through his pride and exaltation, and fell.

MT. SINAI’S TERRORS REPRESENT THE SCENES OF JUDGMENT

Mankind fears not what they should and fears what they should not. See Exodus chapter 19 leading to the giving of the law in chapter 20.

Instead of “fearing God and giving glory to Him for the hour of His Judgment has come,” they continue to brazenly transgress and trample upon His law by which the world, globally, is, and will be judged. Notice the relationship of Sinai and the Judgment—it is infinitely more fearful than this covid-19 pandemic:

CONTEMPLATE ON THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS, NOT THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1 Tim. 3:16, KJV.

As the great controversy on earth grows worse, as prophesied, there is one glorious truth that transcends all the truths in the Bible and is beyond any and all controversies that Satan’s diabolical mind can invent. What is it? “Without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh” in the incarnation!

SEALING TIME WILL NOT LAST LONGER

“I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels…saying,hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” Rev. 7:2,3,KJV.

The sealing, preparation for the latter rain, loud cry, mark of the beast test and the close of probation occurs simultaneously with the pre-advent judgment taking place in the most holy in heaven. Our lives are passing in review right now.

Unchain Your Heart from Worry and Fear

    “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind” (1 Tim. 1: 7).

Dear fellow Bible-believing Christians. Be honest. Are you worried and fearful because of this mysterious sudden emergence as if from nowhere (the blame-game is on) of this novel (new) corona virus that rapidly evolved into a global pandemic overnight, as it were like no other known previous to it—catching all flat-footed, instantly revealing how proud and self-confident finite mortals are and yet how shamefully and clumsily unprepared they are to deal with the bigger and greater catastrophes, calamities and conflicts that will be played out in the biggest stage and theater of the world.

Which is Deadlier: Deception or Temptation?

    “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven . . . Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, cast out demons in Thy name, and one done many wonderful things in Thy name? And then I will declare unto them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice iniquity ”

Matt. 7: 23

Calling upon His, i.e., Jesus Christ’s name, invoking the authority and power His name, apparently doing the very works He entrusted to His disciples, apostles and followers— prophesying, which of course comprehends teaching and expounding on the prophecies, casting out demons, ah! Yes! exorcising demons out of the possessed, and doing many wonderful things, including performing miracles of course!
