Present Truth for the last days

November 4, 2019

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

“Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know them, and are established in the present truth.” 2 Pet. 1:13 (see verses 1-12).

What constitutes Present Truth for the last days? These are made up of vital “essentials, “foundational truths,” or “pillars.” The integrity of any structure is determined by the soundness of its foundation and the adequacy and strength of its pillars.

Everything else is just the superstructure. The Five essential pillars of Present Truth are: 1) The second advent of Jesus 2) the binding claims of the Decalogue, including the 7th day Sabbath and the perpetuity and immutability if God”s law 3) the 3rd angel’s message in its fullness, in correct relationship to the 1st and 2nd angels’ messages.

MILK OR SOLID FOOD?

October 7, 2019

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

MILK OR SOLID FOOD? Please read Hebrews 5:12-14. “It is too late now to feed with milk (of the gospel). If souls a month or two old in the truth, who are about to enter the time of trouble such as never was, cannot hear all the straight truth, or endure the strong meat of the straightness of the way, how will they stand in the day of battle?

Truths that we have been years learning must be learned in a few months by those who now embrace the third angel’s message. There is no need of milk after souls are convinced of the truth.

Beginning with ME

September 30, 2019

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

“Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against God, bringing into captivity in the obedience to Christ.” 2 Cor. 10: 5.

Before it was an act, whether spoken or written, it was first a thought spawned in the womb of the mind. Words and actions are windows into the mind, providing a sneak peek as it were, into the current character of the person, beginning with ME.

O the depths of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

August 5, 2019

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

O the depths of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out. Rom. 11:33.

“In the Bible thousands of gems of truth lie hidden from the surface seeker. This mine of truth is never exhausted. The more you search the Scriptures with humble hearts, the greater will be your interest, and the more you will be exclaiming with apostle Paul: “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God.”

The Humanity of Christ; What was It? II

Friday Morning Manna                May 10, 2019

The Humanity of Christ; What was It?II. PROMISES AND REWARDS OF STUDYING THIS SUBJECT

“We must come to the study of this subject with the humility of a learner, with a contrite heart. And the study of the incarnation of Christ, is a fruitful field and will repay the searcher who digs deep for hidden truth.”- Ibid, Vol. 7, p. 905 (emphasis supplied).

“The humanity of the Son of God is everything to us. It is the golden chain that binds our souls to Christ, and through Christ to God. This is to be our study.”- Selected Messages, Vol. 1, p. 244.

“When we want a deep problem to study, let us fix our minds on the most marvelous thing that ever took place in earth or heaven—the incarnation of the Son of God.” 7 BC 904.

Three Inexhaustible Subjects Regarding Christ the Creator: His incarnation, His atoning sacrifice as the Lamb of God, and His mediatorial work as our High Priest.

“The theme of redemption is one that angels desire to look into; it will be the science and song of the redeemed throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity. Is it not worthy of our careful thought and study now? The subject is inexhaustible. [1] The study of the incarnation of Christ, [2] His atoning sacrifice, and [3] His mediatorial work will employ the mind of the diligent student as long as time shall last; and looking to heaven with its unnumbered years, he will exclaim, ‘Great is the mystery of godliness’ [1 Tim. 3:16].”- Signs of the Times, Apr. 18, 1906; My Life Today, p. 360 (emphasis supplied).

God’s Prophets Demystify His Mysteries at their Appointed Time but Especially Today

“Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” Amos 3: 7, N.K.J.V.

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed belong to us and our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deut. 29: 29. “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Prov. 29: 18, K.J.V. The NKJV reads: “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint.”

Mysteries Revealed, Mysteries Concealed: To Whom and Why?

Friday Morning Manna March 29, 2019

Mysteries Revealed, Mysteries Concealed: To Whom and Why?

See Luke 8: 4-15. After giving the parable of the Sower to “a great multitude coming from every city,” His first twelve disciples later asked Jesus, “What does this parable mean?”

Note quickly this unfortunate unchanging disparity: all heard the same message from the same Speaker at the same place and time but as the parable verily illustrated, only a very few true disciples inquired further. The great majority of that great multitude, comprising the three of the four kinds of soil illustrated in the parable, did not. Christ’s reply echoed what the gospel prophet declared centuries earlier. It clearly shows that the mysteries of the gospel are declared by the prophets to all, to whom they are revealed even while the same will remain concealed to others and why.

Widely Held Lies Regarding Hell and Paradise

Widely Held Lies Regarding Hell and Paradise

Quotable Quote

“Tomorrow, God willing, we will be in paradise and they will be burning in hell.”

The quote above sounds familiar, right? Certainly. The question is, who said it?

These words were not spoken by any Roman Catholic prelate exhorting recruits to its infamous  Crusades neither by any Eastern Orthodox priest or by any pastor/preacher of the traditional Protestant or modern Evangelical and Pentecostal churches of mainstream Christianity.
