THE GREATER CRISIS BUILDING UP IN THIS COVID-19 CRISIS

Mar 29, 2020
FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

THE GREATER CRISIS BUILDING UP IN THIS COVID-19 CRISIS.

Happy first working day of this week! Time to get up from bed, pray, eat your breakfast of God’s Written Word and roll up your sleeves and get to work. Work? Yes? Whether at home or where mandated essential jobs or work places- the work described by our Savior and protective Shepherd of the flock as “work” or “occupy” yourself for the night cometh when man works no more.”’

THE “LITTLE FLOCK” IS GOD’S ARMY

March 23 2020
FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

THE “LITTLE FLOCK” IS GOD’S ARMY.

“Watch ye. stand fast in the faith, quit ye like men, be strong.” 1 Cor. 17:4, KJV (See 1!Sam. 4:9). “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, Behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isa. 60:3.

The Holy Spirit woke me up early this morning by these verses. Lest we forget, we are as it were, on the very borders of the eternal world. We are entering the last conflict for which we should have been training for all these long years. This is the time to manifest strength and courage amidst conflict and calamity. This is no longer boot-camp. We are facing live-fire. The confrontation between the “little David’s” versus the giant Goliaths in the actual field of battle is about to take place. By this time, we should, like David, have already left guarding the sheep in the pasture against wolves and stepped to the greater challenge of facing the giant Goliaths of the last days.

DON’T REPEAT THE HISTORY OF THE CHOSEN PEOPLE!

March 11, 2020

MID-WEEK MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

DON’T REPEAT THE HISTORY OF THE CHOSEN PEOPLE!

See Acts 17: 11 and be a Berean.  “In this our day as in Christ’s day, there will be a misreading and misinterpreting of the Scriptures. If the Jews had studied the Scriptures with earnest, prayerful hearts, their searching would have been rewarded with a true knowledge of the time, and not only the time, but also the manner of Christ’s FIRST appearing. . . .

They had the testimony of Daniel: they had the testimony of Isaiah and other prophets; they had the teaching of Moses; and here was Christ Himself in their midst, and STILL were searching the Scriptures for evidence in regard to His coming!  MANY are doing the same thing today because they have not experienced the TESTING message comprehended in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd angels’ messages.

THE PRESENT TRUTH OF REVIVAL & REFORMATION

March 4, 2020
MID-WEEK MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

THE PRESENT TRUTH OF REVIVAL & REFORMATION

“Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you always of those things, though you know them, and are established in the present truth.” 2 Pet. 4:12.

“We are in the great [anti-typical] day of atonement, when our sins are, by confession and repentance, to go beforehand to judgment [Dan. 8:14; Eccl.12:13,14].

God does not now accept a tame, spiritless testimony from His ministers. Such a testimony would not be present truth. His message for this time must be ‘meat in due season’ [Luke 12:42;2 Tim. 4:2-4] to feed the church of God. . . We must no longer remain on enchanted ground.

GOOD ANGELS MORE POWERFUL THAN EVIL ONES: WE NEED NOT BE OVERCOME NOR OVERWHELMED WITH ANYTHING

January 29 2020

MID-WEEK MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

GOOD ANGELS MORE POWERFUL THAN EVIL ONES: WE NEED NOT BE OVERCOME NOR OVERWHELMED WITH ANYTHING. See Eph. 2:2.

“It is expressly stated that Satan [as the prince of the power of the air] works in the children of disobedience, not merely having access to their minds, but working through their influence, conscious or unconscious, to draw others to the same disobedience.

SUFFERING FOR CHRIST’S SAKE?

November 20, 2019

MID-WEEK MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

SUFFERING FOR CHRIST’S SAKE?

“If anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but glorify God in this matter…Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God, commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.” 1 Pet. 4: 16,19.

“Many who profess the name of Christ, and profess to be looking for His speedy coming, know not what it is to suffer for Christ’s sake. Their hearts are not subdued by grace, and they are not dead to self; but it often appears in various ways; and at the same time they are talking if having trials. But the  principal cause of their trials is an unsubdued heart, which make self so sensitive, that is so often crossed.

The Great Gift-Giver

October 28, 2019

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

Our Father in heaven, the Great Gift-giver of “every good and perfect gift,” answers our prayer requests oftentimes not in a big, dramatic miraculous package but in little packages, delivered daily at our doorsteps  that we may be trained to develop to perfection gratitude and praise from the heart and lips— two of the noblest attributes of the saints of the last days.

We all should unlearn the unlovely and unsaintly tendency and habit of carelessly taking for granted the “little” gifts, talents and opportunities. “He who is faithful in the least will be faithful in much.” There is no such thing as a “small” or a “little sin here and there.”

Everything In The World Is In Agitation

October 21, 2019

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

“Everything in the world is in agitation. The signs of the times are ominous. The Holy Spirit is gradually yet progressively withdrawing from the earth, and calamity follows calamity by sea and by land. There are tempests, earthquakes, fires, floods, murders of every grade. Who can read the future? Where is security?

There is assurance in nothing that is human or earthly. Rapidly are men ranging themselves under the banner they have chosen. Restlessly are they waiting and watching the movement of their leaders.
