FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:
THE GREATER CRISIS BUILDING UP IN THIS COVID-19 CRISIS.
Happy first working day of this week! Time to get up from bed, pray, eat your breakfast of God’s Written Word and roll up your sleeves and get to work. Work? Yes? Whether at home or where mandated essential jobs or work places- the work described by our Savior and protective Shepherd of the flock as “work” or “occupy” yourself for the night cometh when man works no more.”’
That’s no longer a mere exaltation but trumpet warning with a “certain,” not uncertain sound.” What is the crisis within the crisis? We should have all known this before. The sunny days of our religious liberty, that we have recklessly taken for granted, are truly “numbered” to a degree many sadly do not, or care not to realize much less to understand. But that is a choice guaranteed by religious freedom. We must know where we are right now in the prophetic highway by the checking back on the prophetic “driving directions.” This is a very serious matter and I cannot afford as an undershepherd, for any reason whatsoever, to down-play or sugar-coat it’s significance. I dare not face God in my judgement if I even try.
I’ll just quote one now and add more each day to update you in what It is Written has been saying, not what the people groping in darkness are bravely attempting to assert in What Is Trending. Note: “As we near the close of this worlds history, the prophecies [not the internet news or social media] relating to the last days especially demand our study. The last book of the New Testament Scriptures is full of truth that we need to understand. The solemn messages that have been given IN THEIR ORDER are to OCCUPY the first place of the minds of God’s people [are we?]….Only those who have been diligent students of the Scriptures and have received the love of the truth will be SHIELDED from the powerful delusion that takes the WORLD captive.
By the Bible testimony [It is Written] these will detect the deceiver in his disguise. To ALL the testing time will come. By the SiFTING of temptation the GENUINE Christian will be revealed. Are the people of God NOW so firmly established in His Word that they would NOT yield to the evidence of their senses [fear is sensory]? Would they, in SUCH A CRISIS, cling to the Bible and Bible only?l – Maranatha 160. Clinging to the Bible is not merely the literal Bible but it’s contents— that should be studied and stored in the memory so that the Holy Spirit can “bring up to remembrance” what was previously stored, when it is needed in any given crisis.
May God bless you today with all that you need, not merely what you desire. Plead for wisdom and courage and the grace to overcome the “sin that so easily besets thee”— whatever it is, only you and God know. Pastor Nat️
