BEAUTIFUL FEET SHOD WITH GOSPEL OF PEACE

“And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”

Eph. 6:15, KJV.

Paul  wrote further: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring good tidings of things!” Rom. 10: 15, NKJV (See verses 14-16).

“We are living in the midst of an ‘epidemic of crime,’ at which thoughtful, God-fearing men everywhere stand aghast. Everyday brings its heart-sickening record of violence and lawlessness, of indifference to human suffering, of brutal, fiendish destruction of human life. Everyday testifies to the increase of insanity, murder, and suicide. Who can doubt that Satanic agencies are at work among men with increasing activity to distract and corrupt the mind, and defile and destroy the body?

THE TENTH COMMANDMENT. “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, wife, manservant, maidservant, ox, ass nor ANYTHING that is thy neighbor’s.” Exo. 20: 17.

God is also called Palmoni, “the divine Numberer” and is a God of order who “numbers the numberless stars of the heavens” and the number of hairs on our heads. Number Ten in the Bible stands for ‘completion,’ hence there are only Ten Commandments that cover our “whole duty to God and to our fellowmen.

THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT:  “Thou shalt not kill.” Exo. 20: 13; Deut. 5: 17; Matt. 5: 21,22, KJV.

O if only men would understand the spiritual magnification of this commandment (and the rest of the nine), the nation and mankind would not be suffering all the prejudice, racial hatred and killings hemorrhaging society today!

“Whosoever HATETH his brother is a MURDERER: and you know no murderer has life in him.” 1 John 3:15. “The spirit of hatred and revenge originated with Satan: and it led him to put to death [thru his combined Jewish and Roman agencies] the Son of God. Whoever cherishes MALICE or UNKINDNESS is cherishing the same spirit; and its fruit will be unto death. In the REVENGEFUL THOUGHT the evil deed lies enfolded, as the plant in the seed.” E. G. White, Mount of Blessing, p.89.

This current global crisis is disease-centered, multiple other crises branching out from it. To cut to the chase and better understand why, instead of vainly waiting for the “experts” who can’t even agree among themselves, turn to the eternal Source of all wisdom. The testimony of Jesus says: “Again and again I have been shown that God is trying to lead us back, step by step, to His original design—that man should subsist upon the natural products of the earth.”

True Happiness According to the Scriptures

    Happy is the man who finds, and the man who gains understanding . . . . her ways are the ways of pleasantness, and all her ways are peace . . . .and happy are all who retain her. (see Proverbs 3: 13-18, NKJV.)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! But how do we make this really happen? Is there fail-proof formula? By what metric do we measure this specific happiness’ index? In what meaningful sense will 2018 really be new? How did we start it beginning New Year’s Eve, i.e., by sunset of January 31 of the 1017?

Was it “peaceful and quiet with family members,” as the pleasant pharmacy tech at Loma Linda Community Pharmacy told me yesterday or like the world celebrates with a super-boosted adrenaline trip from a sugar high and other popular boosters through to past midnight, winding up with a nasty headache and a downer “rainy days and Mondays” feeling —into the very first day of the New Year?  “A journey of a thousand miles [or a year] begins with the first step.”

Rest, Peace, and Health: Wish List for 2016

A Happy New Year to all.  If we have a true understanding of God’s law, we will not compare our character and spiritual growth by the character of others.  We will judge our own lives by the standard of God’s law which is “holy, just, and good.”Rom. 7: 12.

Twelve months have passed on to eternity never more to return. Have we increased correspondingly in faith,hope, and charity (1 Cor. 13: 13)? “Faith,” says E.G. White, “is not a happy flight of feeling; it is simply taking God at His word and believing because God said He would do this.”  A.T. Jones wrote: “Faith is the expecting the word of God to do what it says, and depending upon that word to do what it says.” (Lessons on Faith, p. 16).

The Ceremonial Law and the Physical Laws

The physical laws must be differentiated from the ceremonial law for though the former were included in the practice of the typical services, “cleanliness” and all that it comprehends physically and spiritually, is “next to godliness” and is based on the truth that the human body was created to be the temple of the living God, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. Thus the physical and natural laws are as old as creation itself, which was but six thousand years ago, according to the divine reckoning and inspired pen.

For instance, many teach that God’s specifications on what foods are clean or unclean belong to the ceremonial law that was “done away with at the cross.” Nothing is farther from the truth for even nature testifies that the beasts, fowls, sea animals, and insects that are classified as unclean are the carnivores, scavengers, or bottom-feeders, etc. But even if one can advance all the reasons such as they are now “farm-raised and fed nothing but healthy and organic feed,” etc., none of these excuses nullify God’s Word and wisdom that defines such as unclean. For one to continue doing so after being enlightened, is rebellion “and stubbornness which is as idolatry.” Thus the physical and Biblical health laws are but part of the natural law which are part of the principles of God’s moral law which govern the whole person—mind, soul, and body.
