HOW PILGRIMS PLAN FOR THE FUTURE

January 13 2020

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

HOW PILGRIMS PLAN FOR THE FUTURE.

“By faith Abraham when he was called to go out to a place which he should afterward receive as an inheritance, went out not knowing where he was going.” Heb. 11:8.

“Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims. abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles (unbelievers) that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.” 1 Pet. 2:11,12 NKJV.

— “Many are unable to make definite plans for the future. Their life is unsettled. They cannot discern the outcome of affairs, and this often fills them with anxiety and unrest. Let us remember that the life of God’s children in this world is a pilgrim life.

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” So, what is it?

Friday Morning Manna

January 10, 2020

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” So, what is it?

That’s in John 8: 36. It is a solemn thing to die but a much more solemn thing to be alive in these times in which we live in for the people identified in prophecy as “they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” and “have the Spirit of prophecy, which is the testimony of Jesus.”

Rev. 14: 12; 19: 10.

“Everything in the world is in agitation. The signs of the times are ominous. Coming events cast their shadows before. The Spirit of God is withdrawing from the earth, and calamity follows calamity by sea and by land. There are tempests, earthquakes, fires, floods, murders of every grade. Who can read the future? Where is security? There is assurance in nothing that is human or earthly. Rapidly are men ranging themselves under the banner they have chosen. Restlessly are they waiting and watching the movements of their leaders

THREE SURPRISES IN HEAVEN IF WE GET THERE

January 8 2020

MID-WEEK MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

THREE SURPRISES IN HEAVEN IF WE GET THERE.

– “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven.” See Matt. 7:21-23 first. “

A Christian once said that when he reached heaven he expected to meet with three causes of wonder. (1) He would wonder to find some that he did not expect to be there.(2) He would wonder not to see some that he expected to meet, and lastly, he would wonder most to find so in worthy a sinner as himself in the Paradise of God.

FOR THE FIRST MONDAY 2020

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

FOR THE FIRST MONDAY 2020.

“Create In me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Ps. 51:10.

– “Another year opens its fair unwritten pages before you. The recording angel is ready to write. Your course of action will determine what shall be traced by him. You may make your future life good or evil; and this will determine for you whether the year upon which you have entered will be to you a happy new year.

Only New Hearts and Renewed Minds Can Make A Year New

Only New Hearts and Renewed Minds Can Make A Year New

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” Jer. 17: 9. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”

Ps. 51: 10.

It is a new year, again. Thank God for gently yet protectively shepherding us through   tumultuous 2019 and step into the new year alive, still rational and relatively physically healthy to still afford us the precious jewel of a rational and discerning mind.

ONLY A NEW HEART CAN MAKE A NEW YEAR

December 30, 2019

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

ONLY A NEW HEART CAN MAKE A NEW YEAR.

“There is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which it may be said, See, this new? It has already been in ancient times before us.” Eccl. 1: 9, 10.

The only things that can be made brand new, inside out, according the only One who has and “creates/makes all things new” (Ps. 51:10; Eze. 11:19: 18: 30-32; 36: 26; Heb. 8: 9-13; 10: 16, 17), producing “the new creature/creation where old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Cor. 5:17).

Here’s “the truth as it in Jesus”—“that we put off, concerning our former conduct, the old man, which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of our mind, that we put on the new man which was created according to God, in righteousness and holiness” (Eph. 4: 17-24).

The “Fullness of Time” Never Specified Specific Time

Friday Morning Manna

December 27, 2019
By Nathaniel Fajardo                                                                                                                                                           email:natfajardo777@yahoo.com

The “Fullness of Time” Never Specified Specific Time

“But When the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the [condemnation] of the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.”

Gal. 4: 4, 5, N.K.J.V.

Sent forth by the Father, the only-begotten Son of God was “born of a woman” and became the Son of man “when the fullness of time had come,” not a “twinkling of an eye” earlier or later. As the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, He was the subject of the first and beginning of all promises and propheciesof the Bible, coming first as “the seed” (Gen. 3: 15) and at last, “the Lord Jesus,” “King of kings and Lord of lords” in His glorious second coming!
