The Humanity That Will Forever Share with Divinity the Throne of the Universe

“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest [most holy of the heavenly sanctuary] by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh.”

Heb. 10: 19, 20, N.K.J.V.

From Desire of Ages, pp. 23, 24:

“Nearly two thousand years ago, a voice of mysterious import was heard in heaven, from the throne of God, ‘Lo, I come.’ ‘Sacrifice and offering Thou wouldest not, but a body hast Thou prepared Me.  . . .  Lo, I come (in the volume of the Book it is written of Me,) to do Thy will, O God.’ Heb. 10: 5-7. In these words is announced the fulfillment of the purpose that had been hidden from eternal ages.

Does Imparted Divine Nature Make Man Divine?

Does Imparted Divine Nature Make Man Divine?

First, while the originator of sin—Lucifer, and the nature of original sin–self-seeking, are revealed, the origin of sin itself or a reasonfor its existence are not, or at least, not yet this side of the resurrection morning while yet in the mortal flesh. Notice the following:

“It is impossible to explain the origin of sin, or to give a reason for its existence. It is an intruder for whose existence no reason can be given. It is mysterious, unaccountable; to excuse it; is to defend it. Could it be excused, could a cause be shown for its existence, it would cease to be sin. Our only definition of sin is that given in the word of God; it is ‘the transgression of the law [1 John 3: 4].’” – Spirit of Prophecy, vol. 4, p. 316, 1884.

Is There Room for Pluralism? (The Incarnation)

IV. Is There Room for Pluralism? (The Incarnation)

Pluralism asserts that Christ adopted both the unfallen (sinless, prelapsarian) and unfallen (sinless, postlapsarian) human natures. First, I found that both sides of the controversy have very compelling Scriptural reasons or interpretations thereof, for adopting their opposing views.  Therefore, as a sort of a neutral approach, I initially started out mentally figuring out whether enough of each side’s position on this dichotomy could produce an acceptable “amalgamation” in my mind that would help relieve the tension between the two and maybe even contribute a bit to helping diffuse the controversy. But what this initial attempt turned out to be was a more detailed consideration of both sides, plus some.

The Humanity of Christ; What was It? II

The Humanity of Christ; What was It?II. PROMISES AND REWARDS OF STUDYING THIS SUBJECT

“We must come to the study of this subject with the humility of a learner, with a contrite heart. And the study of the incarnation of Christ, is a fruitful field and will repay the searcher who digs deep for hidden truth.”- Ibid, Vol. 7, p. 905 (emphasis supplied).

“The humanity of the Son of God is everything to us. It is the golden chain that binds our souls to Christ, and through Christ to God. This is to be our study.”- Selected Messages, Vol. 1, p. 244.

“When we want a deep problem to study, let us fix our minds on the most marvelous thing that ever took place in earth or heaven—the incarnation of the Son of God.” 7 BC 904.

Three Inexhaustible Subjects Regarding Christ the Creator: His incarnation, His atoning sacrifice as the Lamb of God, and His mediatorial work as our High Priest.

“The theme of redemption is one that angels desire to look into; it will be the science and song of the redeemed throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity. Is it not worthy of our careful thought and study now? The subject is inexhaustible. [1] The study of the incarnation of Christ, [2] His atoning sacrifice, and [3] His mediatorial work will employ the mind of the diligent student as long as time shall last; and looking to heaven with its unnumbered years, he will exclaim, ‘Great is the mystery of godliness’ [1 Tim. 3:16].”- Signs of the Times, Apr. 18, 1906; My Life Today, p. 360 (emphasis supplied).

The Mystery of the Incarnation

“When we want a deep problem to study, let us fix our minds on the most marvelous thing that ever took place in earth or heaven—the incarnation of the Son of God.”– Vol. 7, E.G. White Comprehensive Bible Commentary, p. 904.

Before we move on with this marvelous subject, we all need to be reminded simply because the world and the churches have ignored or forgotten about—as they have the Bible Sabbath of the fourth commandment—the true origins of Easter just celebrated this past Sunday.

God’s Prophets Demystify His Mysteries at their Appointed Time but Especially Today

“Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” Amos 3: 7, N.K.J.V.

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed belong to us and our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deut. 29: 29. “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Prov. 29: 18, K.J.V. The NKJV reads: “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint.”

From the Seventh Trumpet to the Last Trumpet

Friday Morning Manna                   February 22, 2019

Nathaniel Fajardo                                        email:[email protected]

From the Seventh Trumpet to the Last Trumpet

“The second woe is past. Behold the third woe cometh quickly.” Revelation 11: 14.

“Behold, I come quickly.” Revelation 22: 12.

Clarifications need to be made quickly regarding quickly as used in the above verses. Some make the same application of the first with Christ’s last recorded promise, “Behold, I come quickly,” suggesting that the former means a longer lapse of time rather than commencing immediately. John penned these words, they say, in A.D. 70, and today, two thousand years after, Christ has not yet come. That is not quite quick, or so it seems.

Ecumenical Movement Entering its Penultimate Stage

Ecumenical Movement Entering its Penultimate Stage

“Jews, Evangelicals reach out to Sunni Gulf Arab leaders.” This was the headline of a news story simultaneously appearing and similarly titled in at least 32 news outlets on Tuesday this week. The editorial boards/staffs of these news outlets unitedly perceived its newsworthy nature– from whatever angle, agenda, and editorial policies each had that determined its value.  Should we be interested too? And how much?
