COOPERATION WITH DIVINITY IS VICTORY

October 14, 2019

WEEKLY QUOTE FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

COOPERATION WITH DIVINITY IS VICTORY.

“Let no man present the idea that man has little or nothing to do in the great work of overcoming; for God does nothing for man without His co-operation. Neither say that after you have done all you can on your part, Jesus will help you (Not “God helps those who help themselves.”) Why? “Jesus said, ‘Without Me you can do nothing.”

From first to last we are to be laborers together with God. And unless the Holy Spirit is allowed to work in our hearts, we will stumble and fail at every step. Man’s efforts alone are nothing but worthlessness; but cooperation with God means victory.

When Will Humanity Ever Learn to Fully Trust Divinity?

When Will Humanity Ever Learn to Fully Trust Divinity?

Why did God Creator have to come down to fallen man’s level in the incarnation?

It was to demonstrate by “manifesting to the world, men and angels” for all eternity the truth of God’s undying and unconditional love for sinners, which likewise reveals the secret of victory of fallen man over Satan and sin, which is: the complete surrender of man man’s will to God’s will, the lost sinner’s will to the Savior’s will.

MILK OR SOLID FOOD?

October 7, 2019

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

MILK OR SOLID FOOD? Please read Hebrews 5:12-14. “It is too late now to feed with milk (of the gospel). If souls a month or two old in the truth, who are about to enter the time of trouble such as never was, cannot hear all the straight truth, or endure the strong meat of the straightness of the way, how will they stand in the day of battle?

Truths that we have been years learning must be learned in a few months by those who now embrace the third angel’s message. There is no need of milk after souls are convinced of the truth.

He Surrendered and Submerged His Will to the Father’s Will

He Surrendered and Submerged His Will to the Father’s Will

“For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.”

John 6: 38

It will never suffice to reverently address Him in muffled tones, “Lord Jesus” or frenziedly shout “Jesus is Lord! Hallelujah,” or engage in any of the popular forms in the Christian mainstream of praise-worshipping and glorifying Him as “Lord and Savior” or even performing the miraculous,  including casting out demons, using His name—unless the one professing and performing such things is factually and in reality,  doing the will of the Father.

Beginning with ME

September 30, 2019

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

“Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against God, bringing into captivity in the obedience to Christ.” 2 Cor. 10: 5.

Before it was an act, whether spoken or written, it was first a thought spawned in the womb of the mind. Words and actions are windows into the mind, providing a sneak peek as it were, into the current character of the person, beginning with ME.

God in His Divine Sphere and Man in His Human Sphere

God in His Divine Sphere and Man in His Human Sphere

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

2 Cor. 5: 21, N.K.J.V.

That, is, God the Father made His only-begotten Son who knew no sin, to be sin for us in order that we might become the righteousness of the Father that resides in the Son. The Creator, in becoming the last Adam through the incarnation, became the human-divine Sin Bearer—who never knew sin by experiment and experience—not even in thought and imagination—became sin itself—not became a sinner, like the first Adam who experimented with sin.

Are We A Saving Influence?

September 23, 2019

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

Are We A Saving Influence?

See 2 Cor. 2:15, 16 first. Savor means “aroma” and “influence.”  Throw a pebble into a lake, and a wave is formed, and another, and another. As they increase the circle widens, until it reaches the very shore.

Beyond our knowledge or control it tells upon others in blessing OR cursing. Character is power.

The Power of the Last Adam to ‘Lay Down His Life and Take it up Again”

Friday Morning Manna                                    September 20, 2019 Nathaniel Fajardo

The Power of the Last Adam to ‘Lay Down His Life and Take it up Again”

“And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness that God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.” 1 Tim. 3: 16, N.K.J.V.

1 Tim. 3: 16, N.K.J.V.

“Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared [partook, K.J.V.] in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.”

Heb. 2: 14
