THE SEVENTH COMMANDMENT “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”

June 8 2020

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

THE SEVENTH COMMANDMENT.  “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Exo.20:14.

Jesus magnified this law by declaring: “You have heard that it was said to those of old ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever LOOKS at a woman to lust for her has ALREADY committed adultery with her in HIS HEART.” Matt. 5: 26,27, NKJV.

“When the thoughts of evil is loved and cherished, HOWEVER SECRETLY, said Jesus, it shows that sin STILL reigns in the heart. The soul is still in the gall of bitterness and in the BOND[AGE] of iniquity.

HOW DANIEL OVERCAME AND WAS BLESSED WITH WISDOM

December 16, 2019

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

HOW DANIEL OVERCAME AND WAS BLESSED WITH WISDOM.

“When Daniel was in Babylon, he was beset with temptation of which we never dreamed, and he realized he must keep his body under. He purposed (chose, decided, committed, willed) in his heart that he would not drink if the king’s wine or eat of his dainties. (Dan. 1:8).

He knew that in order to come off a victor, he must have clear mental PERCEPTIONS, that he might DISCERN between right and wrong. While he was working on his part, God worked also, and gave him ‘knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.” Dan. 17.

The 1335 Prophetic Days and the Critical Year 1843

FRIDAY MORNING MANNA

Biblical Numerology: NUMBER SEVEN (No. 42)

The 1335 Prophetic Days and the Critical Year 1843

Verse 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and and five and thirty days. 13 But go thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. Daniel 12: 12, 13, K.J.V.

From Daniel and the Revelation by Uriah Smith, pp. 330-332:

The 1335 Prophetic Days. – After the 1290 prophetic days which considered the interpretation of earlier, “still another prophetic period is here introduced, denoting 1335 days. Can we tell when this period begins and ends? The only clue we have to the solution of this questions is the fact that it is spoken of in immediate connection with the 1290 years, which began in 508 as shown [earlier].

Are We Preparing for the Latter Rain?– Part XXXIV

A Sabbath-Keeping People

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1: 1. In the bosom of these very first words of the Bible is cradled all the other truths following: the history of creation; the fall of man and its cause, the nature of the great controversy between God and Satan; the plan of redemption prepared before the fall, and the glorious restoration of all that was lost on account of sin—both of man and the whole earth.

Because man alone, the crowning act of creation, was created in the image and likeness of the Creator, it was natural for him to joyfully keep the memorial day of God’s appointment. It was in their nature to love, adore, obey, worship, and glorify their Creator who had made a perfect world and a perfect Eden home for them before creating them. The earth was designed to be Adam’s kingdom. Genesis 1: 26, 27.
