HOW WE BECOME CONQUERORS

December 11, 2019

MID-WEEK MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

HOW WE BECOME CONQUERORS.

Jesus said, “I am the true Vine. . . . Every branch that does not bear fruit is cast away, and every branch that bears fruit He PRUNES, that it may bear MORE fruit. . . .By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” Matt. 15:1,2,8, NKJV.

What kind of fruits? See Gal.5:22-26. When your faith wavers and are tempted to give up, remember God permits divinely-calibrated, divinely-measured-and-controlled obstacles and trials in order to test, develop and perfect faith, not discourage us! Thus: “When we are hedged about on every side, this is the time above all others to trust in God and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYING FOR THE SERIOUSLY SICK OR TERMINALLY ILL

December 9, 2019

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

PRAYING FOR THE SERIOUSLY SICK OR TERMINALLY ILL.

“The Scriptures says that ‘men ought to pray; and not to faint.’(Luke 18:1); and if ever there is a time when they feel their need of prayer, it is when strength fails and life itself seems slipping from their grasp. Often those who are in health forget the wonderful mercies continued to them day by day, year after year, and they render not tribute if praise to God for His benefits. But when sickness comes, God is remembered.

The Creator Given a Human Body and Will in the Incarnation

The Creator Given a Human Body and Will in the Incarnation

“I delight to do Thy will, O My God, yea Thy law is written in My heart.”

Ps. 40: 8, K.J.V.

Here we have the first revelation of the not-yet incarnated Creator, expressing through the psalmist by way of prophecy, what His will was, is, and ever will simply because “He is the same yesterday, today and forever.” Heb. 13: 8.

It was, and is the only-begotten Son’s delight from the beginning to do the will of the Father whom He loves, willingly, voluntarily, purposefully, untiringly and spontaneously. Such love is divine, excelling, and undying. Without such a will, such kind of love, such delightful obedience to do God’s will by obeying His law from the heart, is impossible.

THE DIVINE POTTER MOLDS HUMAN CLAY INTO HIS IMAGE

December 4, 2019

MID-WEEK MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:

THE DIVINE POTTER MOLDS HUMAN CLAY INTO HIS IMAGE.

Ask yourself: Is it my way or God’s way that I am following. Here’s a vital part of the sealing work: Submiting our will to God, resisting the devil and his temptations, particularly the pesky, persistent besetting sins “that so easily ensnare us” (James 4:7; Rev.3:21; 1 Cor. 15:31; Luke 9:23; Heb 12:21). – “While the human agent is devising and planning for himself something that God has withheld him from doing, he has a hard time. He complains and frets, and has still more difficulties. But when he submits as clay in the hands of the potter, then God works the man into a vessel of honor (Rom. 9:21; 1 Thess. 4:4; 2 Tim. 2:21).
