THE GOSPEL OF CHRISTIANITY’S CHRIST VS ThE ‘GOSPEL’ OF ROME’S ANTICHRIST – (Part 2)

In his epistle to the early church in ROME, the capital city of the pagan Roman Empire at that time, apostle Paul boldly declares to all the churches and mankind itself, whether “Jew, Greek, or Gentile,” for “God is no respecter of persons,” and the universal sinfulness of man “for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”—-that God’s antidote to the whole problem of SIN (the transgression of God’s law, 1 John 3:4) and His plan to meet the emergency sin had created, as well as the curse of death, which is “the wages of sin” is the GOSPEL OF CHRIST, the power of God to save the sinner from the power of Satan and yielding to his temptations to commit sin, and from suffering eternal death while “magnifying the law and making it honorable,” the exact opposite of “doing away,” “nailing to the cross,” or abrogating it by replacement with “grace.”

Notice:
“v 16 For I am not ashamed of THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST: for it is THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

“v 17 For therein [in the gospel of Christ] is the righteousness of God is REVEALED from faith to faith, as IT IS WRITTEN, the just [not the unjust] shall live by faith.

“v 18 For the wrath of God is revealed AGAINST all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men [the unjust] who hold the truth [of the gospel of Christ] in unrighteousness;

“v 19 Because that which may be known of God [as revealed in the gospel of Christ] is manifest IN them; for God has SHOWED it unto them [not veiled, obscured, hidden, or withheld].” Rom. 1: 16-19, KJV.

Read the whole chapter for broader context and know for yourselves the following:
1) the “gospel of Christ” is revealed so that man has no excuse to accept the counterfeit gospel of Antichrist

2) the “wrath of God” is also revealed: know against what and against whom

3) the “righteous judgment of God” is also revealed so that all may know how to avoid it—-by receiving and being saved by the “gospel of Christ,” not the counterfeit “gospel” of Antichrist, which results in perdition, not salvation!

THE GOSPEL OF CHRISTIANITY’S CHRIST VS THE ‘GOSPEL’ OF ROME’S ANTICHRIST – Part 1

There is the gospel of Jesus Christ and there is the “perverted” version of it, which is “another gospel,” or “other gospels,” even as there are “other god” pretenders to the one and only true God. (Exo. 20:1-3).

We are blessed to believe and accept (in the fullest sense of these words) the former, and certainly “accursed” if we choose the latter for the former.

Here is what apostle Paul sternly warned the early Christian converts in churches in Galatia, many from Judaism, the national religion of the Jewish nation at Christ’s time (also called the religion of the Pharisees by Christ) who were still zealously trying to enforce literal circumcision prescribed in the ceremonial “law of Moses” under the Old Testament Jewish dispensation, which were done away with when shadow met the substance, type met antitype when Christ the Lamb of God was offered at Calvary, :
31 A.D.

Before Saul’s dramatic conversion on the road to Damascus and his name changed to Paul the apostle to the Gentiles, he was like them and worse for he zealous persecuted the first followers of Christ!, wrongly believing that he “was serving God.”

He warned them and all professed Christians today:
“I marvel [am astounded] that you are so soon removed from Him [Lord Jesus Christ, verses 1-5] that called you unto the grace of Christ unto ANOTHER GOSPEL: which is NOT ANOTHER; but there be some that TROUBLE YOU, and would PERVERT the gospel of Christ. But though WE [Paul and all the apostles], or an ANGEL from heaven, PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be ACCURSED [whoever preaches ‘another gospel’].

As we said before, so say I now AGAIN, If any man [particularly “the man of sin” and “son of perdition.” 2 Thess. 2: 1-17] preach any other gospel unto you than ye have received, let him be ACCURSED.” [Note: Both the preachers and the receivers of the “other gospels” are cursed, not blessed by God!].” Gal. 1: 6-9, KJV.

Paul continues: “For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to PLEASE men? For if I get pleased men, I should NOT be the servant of Christ. [Note: If the hidden motive of anyone preaching the gospel is to please men, including himself, he is not God’s servant but the servant of the author of the counterfeit gospel, and therefore “accursed”].

But I certify you, brethren, that the GOSPEL which was preached of me is NOT after MAN. For I neither RECEIVED it of man, neither was I TAUGHT it, but by the REVELATION of Jesus Christ. For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the JEWS’ RELIGION [the course of my past life and career as a overzealous Pharisee], how that beyond measure, I PERSECUTED the church of God [not the ‘synagogue’ of the Jews], and WASTED it: and profited in the JEWS’ RELIGION above many my equals in mind own nation [the Jewish nation], being MORE EXCEEDINGLY ZEALOUS of the TRADITIONS of my fathers.” Verses 10-14.

Now follows part of the genuine conversion process, change of mind, and realignment of his previously misdirected “righteous zeal” which was as dramatically manifested as his experience on the road to Damascus when literal layers of scales came of his eyes—scales of tradition and false teachings by the “fathers” that blinded him! He said:

“But when it pleases God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by His grace [called by grace and response by grace, is saving grace], to reveal His Son to me, that I might preach Him AMONG THE HEATHEN [whom the proud Jewish nation looked down upon, cynically addressing them as low-life “Gentiles”], immediately I conferred NOT with flesh and blood [fellow mortals]: neither went I to JERUSALEM to them who were APOSTLES BEFORE ME [older and more senior in rank and knowledge]: but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus [in Syria].” Verses 15-17.

IT IS NO SECRET WHAT GOD CAN DO “FOR ALL MANNER OF DISEASES.” WHAT HE DID FOR ISRAEL, HE’LL DO FOR YOU!

“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven, and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

BUT unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with HEALING in His wings: and ye shall grow up as calves of a stall. . . . REMEMBER ye the LAW of Moses My servant, which I COMMANDED unto him in Horeb FOR ALL ISRAEL, with the statutes and the JUDGMENTS.” Malachi 4: 1, 2, 4, KJV.

God said, “For I am the Lord, I change not.” (Mal. 3:6). Christ, Emmanuel, “God in the flesh with us (Matt. 1:24; John 1: 1-4, 14; 1 Tim. 3:16), is also “the same yesterday, today, and forever.”(Heb. 13:8).

What He required, promised, provided for, and thus righteously expects of individuals, such as Adam, and the chosen nation and people, such as Israel, is exactly the same for us today.

Now, let’s review what God commanded and promised Israel regarding DISEASES (and Covid 19 and all its variants is of course, a disease!):

“And God said, IF thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put NONE OF THESE DISEASES upon thee, which I HAVE BROUGHT UPON THE EGYPTIANS. For I am the Lord that HEALETH you.” Exo. 15:26, KJV.

Now make sure to compare the foregoing verses with its enhancements as
recorded in Deut. 8: 6-14. Verse 15 reads: “And the Lord will TAKE AWAY from thee ALL SICKNESS, and will PUT NONE OF THE EVIL (harmful, deadly) DISEASES of Egypt, WHICH THOU kNOWEST, upon thee: but will LAY THEM UPON ALL WHO HATE THEE.”

Again, God warns His chosen people of both Old and New dispensations: Please be sure to read Deut. 28: 1-68. Verses 59-61 says: “Then the Lord will
make thy plagues wonderful [amazingly terrible], and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and SORE sickness.

Moreover He will bring upon thee ALL the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID OF, and they shall CLEAVE unto thee. Also, every sickness, and every plague, WHICH ARE NOT WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, them will the Lord bring upon thee, UNTIL thou be destroyed.”

God is not fooling around. He who “is love,” means business Let none dare rifle with His requirements and words!

We often say, “God is in full control.” Indeed! Satan has the power of death, that is why he is also called the “murderer from the beginning” as “father of lies.”

But Christ has all the power over life and death; the power both to “put none” (prevent), heal (if and when afflicted), and bring or lay on (inflict) diseases or plagues or sickness of any kind upon those He deems deserving of either His mercy or justice—all demonstrating His divine wisdom, love, faithfulness, mercy, power, righteousness, and justice from beginning to end.

God’s physical and dietary laws are as sacred as the Decalogue for “we have been purchased by Christ’s blood and our physical bodies He claims as His dwelling place, His temple! He promised to protect this body-temple IF we obey all His laws! Bless all, NMF

THE SEALING, PRE-ADVENT JUDGMENT, LAODICEA, & THE TEN VIRGINS (Part 2)

THE SEALING, PRE-ADVBNT JUDGMENT, LAODIiCEA, & THE TEN VIRGINS (Part 2) 
If you are actively “seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,” here are “kingdom” language and thoughts you can ill afford to ignore. 
Jesus used many parables to explain the nature and operations of the kingdom. He came to establish on the earth that was beyond comparison to any kingdom, empire, or government of man, past, present or future. He said:
“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be LIKENED unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.” Mart. 25: 1, 2, KJV. Clearly then among Christian “kingdom-seekers” and “virgins” who are preparing to “meet the Bridegroom,” in the evening of earth’s history, five are “wise,” and the rest are “foolish.” 
One couldn’t tell the difference between the two, that isat the outset. But as this parable depicts, it is only a momentous, one-off “delay-crisis” that reveals who is what! 
One class had enough “oil” in their “lamps” during the crisis, the other did not. And this is what determined who were “ready” and who weren’t “ready to “meet” the anticipated Bridegroom. How critical then that we clearly understand what the “oil” and the “lamps” represent as well as who the ten virgins represent in both parables and prophecies of the gospel! 
Read verses 1-13 and remember this is one of the 40 recorded parables of Jesus. Without having the “keys” (Luke 11:52; Matt. 16:19) on hand and knowing how to properly use these “tools,” one will fail to “unlock” the precious “mysteries” of the kingdom (Matt. 13:11; Luke 8:10) contained in the treasure troves of the parables and prophecies. 
“Spiritual things are spiritually discerned.” 2 Cor. 2: 13, 14, 10-12. The carnal mind is incapable of achieving this for it is “at enmity with the law,” which is spiritual, not of the “letter that killeth.” Rom. 8:4-8; 2 Cor. 3: 6. Now consider the following carefully (emphasis mine): 
“The state [or spiritual condition] of the church represented by the FOOLISH VIRGINS, is also spoken of as the LAODICEAN STATE.” – E.G.W. Vol. 2, Review & Herald, p. 420. 
Q. Who are the “foolish virgins” and why so? “The class represented by the foolish virgins are NOT HYPOCRITES. They have a regard for the truth, they have advocated the truth. They are attracted to those who believe the truth; BUT they have not yielded themselves to the Holy Spirit’s working.They have not fallen upon the Rock, Christ Jesus, and permitted their old natures to be broken up.” -Ibid, Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 411. 
Simply put, they were never really “born again” from within, only from “without.” They did not have a change of heart and thus did not receive a “new heart, new mind, and new spirit.” The “old man” never died which has to take place before the sinner becomes “a new creature or creation in Christ.”
Q. What happens to the foolish virgins? “When the foolish virgins reached the banqueting hall, an UNEXPECTED DENIAL was given them. They were left OUTSIDE in the blackness of the night. The door was SHUT.” -Ibid. Manuscript 92a, p.1, 1898. 
Q. What does it mean to be a wise virgin? “The wise virgins are those who have faith and love and patience, whose experience DAY BY DAY is nourished by the Holy Spirit. THEY DO NOT CONFORM TO THE WORLD IN CARELESS INATTENTION. They do not put off [procrastinate] their DAILY preparation, but follow Jesus [the Lamb] wherever He leads the way [see Rev. 14:4].”- Ibid, Vol. 3, Signs of the Times, p. 138, 1894. 
“The wise virgins represent those who have PERFECTED A CHRISTIAN CHARACTER, who have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” -Ibid, MS 92a, pp. 4,5, 1898. 
NOTE: To “wash one’s robe and make it white in the Lamb’s blood” means to perfect moral character by overcoming sins by the power of the grace of God in Christ dispensed through the Holy Spirit. Bless all, NMF

THE SEALING, PRE-ADVENT JUDGMENT, LAODICEA & THE TEN VIRGINS
“Those that overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil will be the favored ones to receive the SEAL of the living God. Those whose hands are not clean [spiritually], whose hearts are not pure, will not have the seal of the living God. Those who are PLANNING sin [transgression of God’s moral and health/physical laws] and acting it will be PASSED BY [This is what the hymn ‘Pass Me Not O Gentle Savior’ comprehends].
“Only those who, in their ATTITUDE before God, are filling the position of those who are repenting and confessing their sins in this GREAT ANTITYPICAL DAY OF ATONEMENT, will be recognized and MARKED AS WORTHY OF GOD’S PROTECTION
“The names of those who are STEADFASTLY looking and Waiting and Watching for the appearing of their Savior—-MORE EARNESTLY AND WISHFULLY than they who wait for tomorrow [or life to ‘return to normal’ post pandemic]—-will be NUMBERED among those who are sealed [of ‘marked by the man with an inkhorn, Ezekiel 9].
“Those who, WHILE having all the light of truth [specifically the ‘present, testing truth] flashing upon their souls, should have WORKS corresponding to their avowed [professed] faith, BUT are allured by sin [particularly sins of the flesh and intemperance], setting up IDOLS IN THEIR HEARTS [make sure you know what this means!], corrupting their souls before God, will have their NAMES BLOTTED OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE; and be left in ‘midnight darkness, having no oil in their vessels in their lamps’ [that’s the foolish Virgins of the parable!].” – E. G. White, Testimonies to Ministers, p. 445. 
I am just doing my little part in helping “rebuild the walls and repair the breach” by reminding myself and all who are willing, that, not once our names are entered into the Lamb’s book of life that it remains there forever. The pre-advent judgment and our works will determine whether our SINS or our NAMES will be finally blotted out! (Acts 3:19; Rev.3: 11, etc.). 
Not once-saved, always-saved. We are only BEYOND temptation when we die, either in our sins (eternally damned) or in the Lord (and ‘rest fromour labors.’ Rev. 14:13), during the millennium, and eternally, when Satan is finally destroyed at the end of the millennium. ‘ESCAPE FOR THY LIFE’: ITS ANTITYPICAL MEANING DURING THIS JUDGMENT HOUR

‘ESCAPE FOR THY LIFE’: ITS ANTITYPICAL MEANING DURING THIS JUDGMENT HOUR 
“He [the Lord said to Lot], Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed [by the fires of judgment].” Gen. 19: 17, KJV. 
Obviously this “life” is not the temporal one that we can lose without a moment’s notice anytime, anywhere, for any number of causes or reasons. Rather, this is the “eternal life” that is still a promise, not yet a possession for those who will “endure to the end,” and Christ returns with His just rewards determined in His pre-advent judgment, “to give every man as his work shall be” (Rev. 22:14). Now this:
“The SAME ANGEL who visited Sodom is sounding the note of warning [today], ‘Escape for thy life.’ The bottles [also called “bowls,” “vials,” “four winds of strife” of the seven last plagues] cannot be poured out to destroy the wicked and their works [particularly stubbornly persisting to “worship the beast or his image” and received the mark of the beast in their foreheads] UNTIL all the people have been JUDGED, and the cases of the living as well as the dead are decided. 
“And even after the saints are SEALED with the seal of the living God, His elect will [still] have trials INDIVIDUALLY. Personal afflictions will come, but the furnace is watched by an eye that will not suffer the GOLD fo be consumed. The INDELIBLE MARK of God is upon them [See Ezekiel 9]. God can plead His own name is written there. 
The Lord has SHUT THEM IN [even as He shut Noah and his family inside the ark by Himself closing the only entrance to ark after 120’ years of warning the antediluvian world]. Their destination is inscribed, ‘God, New Jerusalem.’ [Meaning] They are God’s property. His possession.
“Will the seal be put upon the IMPURE in mind, the FORNICATOR, the ADULTERER, the man who COVETS his neighbor’s wife? Let your souls answer the question: Does my character correspond to the QUALIFICATIONS essential that I may receive a PASSPORT [seal of God] to the MANSIONS Christ has prepared for those who are FITTED for them? [John 14:1-3]. HOLINESS must be inwrought in our CHARACTER.” – E. G. White, Testimonies to Ministers, p. 446. 
“God has a CLAIM placed in one scale, and man’s CHARACTER on the other, and by the balances of the SANCTUARY every man’s doom is fixed for eternity. Look at this, you that have lived carelessly and have regarded sin LIGHTLY. 
For years you [whoever only is guilty] have continued without a sense of your responsibility to God—years of SELFISH INDULGENCE in a forbidden course, Consider the perfect, unchanging character of the LAW whose claims you have VERBALLY vindicated. The law demands perfect, unswerving obedience.
“In the latter scale [weighing man’s character] is also place the sin, the folly, the deception, the unclean thoughts, the unholy actions, and the preponderance or lightness of the weight, determined the weal or the woe of INDIVIDUALS. ‘Thou art weighed on the balances, and art found wanting.’ 
“Will those before whom this letter [straight testimony of the True Witness] shall come, consider their OWN INDIVIDUAL CASES, PASS JUDGMENT ON NO ONE ELSE, BUT CONSIDER THEIR OWN CHARACTER IN THE LIGHT OF GOD’S LAW.” – Ibid, pp. 439. 440. 
This helps us better understand how and why salvation is individual in the light of the ongoing investigative judgment while the antitypical Zerubbabels, Ezras, and Nehemiah’s are faithfully and bravely “rebuilding the walls and repairing the breach” against the apparently overwhelMing confederacy of the antitypical Geshems, Tobiahs, and Sanballats. This global triumvirate is rapidly jelling as Romanism, apostate Protestantism, and Spiritualism. 
Let us collectively and harmoniously Watch, Work and Pray, and Wait patiently on the Lord lest, in our zeal we fall into the snares of fanaticism and conspiracies presently proliferating now. Bless all, NMF

THE HOPE THAT LEADS TO THE WORK OF PURIFICATION
“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself even as He is pure.” 1 John 3: 3, KJV. As to what specific hope is herein referred to, see verses 1 and 2.
“Here is a work for man to do. He must  face the MIRROR, God’s law, discern the defects of his moral character, and put away his sins [not cherish, excuse, belittle, or excuse], washing his ‘robe of character’ in the blood of the Lamb [by ‘faith the works by love’ and purifies the soul, Gal. 5:6].
“Envy, Pride, Malice, Deceit, Strife, and Crime will be cleansed from the heart that is a recipient of the love of Christ and that cherishes the ‘hope of being made like Him when we shall see Him as He is.’ The religion of Christ [not of the ‘Church’ or the world] REFINES and DIGNIFIES it’s possessor, whatever his associations or stations in life may be.
“Men who become ENLIGHTENED CHRISTIANS rise above the level of their FORMER character into GREATER mental and moral strength. Those fallen and degraded by sin and crime MAY, through the merits of the Savior, be EXALTED to a position but ‘little lower than that of angels.’ 
“But the INFLUENCE of the Gospel Hope will not lead the sinner to look upon the salvation of Christ as a matter of FREE GRACE while he CONTINUES to live in transgression of the law of God. When the light of truth dawns upon his mind and he fully understands the REQUIREMENTS of God and fully realizes the EXTENT of his transgressions, he will REFORM his ways, become LOYAL to God through the strength OBTAINED from his Savior, and lead a NEW and PURER life.”(E. G. White, 4T 294-5).
“We have a work to do to FASHION the character AFTER the divine Model [cf. 1 Pet. 2:21-24]. All wrong habits must be given up. The IMPURE must become PURE in heart; the SELFISH must put away his selfishness, the PROUD must get rid of his pride; the SELF-SUFFICIENT man must overcome his self-confidence, and realize that he is NOTHING WITHOUT CHRIST. We must have a LIVING connection with God.”- Ibid, RH, Nov. 17, 1885. (See GAG 232).   Bless all, NMF

FIG-LEAF GARMENTS VS THE GARMENTS OF INNOCENCE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

“And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.” Gen. 3:7, KJV.

“The white robe of innocence was worn by our first parents when they were placed by God in holy Eden. They lived in perfect harmony to the will of God. All the strength of their affections were given to their Heavenly Father [not towards each other]. A beautiful soft white light, the light of God, enshrouded the holy pair. THE ROBE OF LIGHT WAS A SYMBOL OF THEIR SPIRITUAL GARMENTS OF INNOCENCE.

“Had they remained ever true to God it [robe of soft white light, not flashy, loud, jewelry-studded “diva-like” get ups] would ever have continued to enshroud them. But when SIN entered they SEVERED (cut off) their connection with God, and the light that encircled them DEPARTED.

“Naked and ashamed, they tried fo SUPPLY the place of the heavenly garments by sewing together [their own devisings] fig leaves for a covering. THIS IS WHAT THE TRANSGRESSORS OF GOD’S LAW HAVE DONE EVER SINCE THE DAY OF ADAM AND EVE’S DISOBEDIENCE.

They have sewed together to cover the NAKEDNESS [guilty conscience caused by transgression [of the moral and physical laws of the Creator]. They have worn the garments of their own devisings [and taught by the antinomian, popular, world-loving, mega church-“daughters of the Mother” described in Revelation 17], by works of their own they have tried to cover their sins, and make themselves to God.” (Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 311).

“Christ [the true Christian’s Example and Pattern-man] was obedient to every requirement of the law. ‘I delight to do Thy Will, O My God, yea, Thy law is within My heart.’ (Ps. 40:8).

When on earth, He said to His disciples, ‘I have kept My Father’s commandments.’(John 15:10). By His perfect obedience [as God incarnate in human flesh and blood nature} He has made it POSSIBLE for every human being to obey God’s commandments [moral law of the Decalogue and the physical laws}. HOW?

“When we SUBMIT ourselves to Christ, the HEART is UNITED to His heart, the WILL is merged in His Will, the MIND becomes one with His mind, the THOUGHTS are brought into captivity to Him; we live His life. This is what it means to be CLOTHED WITH THE GARMENTS OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Then as the Lord looks upon us He sees, not the fig-leaf garments, not the nakedness and deformity of sin, HIS OWN ROBE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which is perfect obedience to the law of Jehovah.” (Ibid, p. 312).

It is these faithful, commandment-keeping, overcoming saints who have received the seal of God’s approval in their foreheads that were shown to John and were described as follows:

“Let us rejoice and be glad, and give honor to Him, for the MARRIAGE of the Lamb is come, and His WIFE hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in FINE LINEN, clean and white: for the FINE LINEN IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE SAINTS. And He said unto me, Write, Blessed are they who are called to the MARRIAGE SUPPER of the Lamb. And He saith unto me, These and the TRUE SAYINGS of God.” Rev. 19:8, 9, KJV.
