The
Enlightenment that a Study of the Incarnation and the Godhead Brings
“No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He is in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whosoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God [not the mere “son of Mary”], God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”
1 John 4: 12-16
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak of His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you all things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.”
John 16: 13-15.
And “What God hath joined together,
let no man put asunder (or “let not men separate).”Matt. 19: 6. After the last
merciful warnings proclaimed in the three angel’s messages of Revelation 14
comes the last warning of the whole Bible: “For I testify to everyone who hears
the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add
to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes
away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take
away his part from the Book of Life, and from the holy city [the New
Jerusalem from above], and from the things which are written in this book.”
Rev. 22: 18, 19. This is actually not a
New Testament warning but a repetition from the Old:
