Throughout these series on end-time prophecies the word “church” refers to the host of worshippers, generally the Christian churches of America but more specifically the once-Protestant churches of once-Protestant America while “Church,” even as the secular media constantly alludes to, is the Church of Rome, or in specified instances, state churches such as the Church of England.  First, we conclude last week’s focus on the ecumenical bandwagon picking up speed and “passengers” with the Papacy behind the wheel and the once-Protestant churches being the car, with this: only one Protestant denomination, considered the fastest-growing church in America, as of 2011, has been conspicuously absent in the official listing of the World Council of Church’s membership and all the flurry of the reunification activities since the Vatican II—the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

The Union that the Third Angel’s Message Warns of

 We wish to remind the reader of the engine that drives this column from its inception, with a quote from the first of my favorite authors:

When you depend on the Word of the living God with heart, and mind, and soul, the channel of communication will be unobstructed. Deep, earnest study of the Word under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, will give you fresh manna, and the same Spirit will make its use effectual . . .
