APOSTATE CHRISTIANITY UNITES WITH THE RESURRECTED PAPACY (Rev. 13).

“And the ten horns which thou sanest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom AS YET, but receive power as kings ONE HOUR [prophetic time] with the BEAST. These shall have ONE MIND and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” Rev. 17: 12,13, KJV.

“As we approach the last crisis, it is of vital moment that HARMONY and UNITY exist among the Lord’s instrumentalities. [Why?] The world is filled with storm and war and variance [alienation, division, contradiction, enmity]. YET under one head—THE PAPAL POWER—the people [multitudes] will unite to oppose God IN THE PERSON of His [faithful commandment-keeping] witnesses.

“What is it that gives its KINGDOM [‘power and strength’] to this power [the beast]?

PROTESTANTISM, a power which, while professing to have the temper and spirit of a ‘lamb’ [Rev. 13: 11-16] and be allied to Heaven ‘speaks with the voice of a dragon. It is moved by a power from BENEATH.

‘These have one mind.’ [What does this mean?] There will be a universal bond of union, one great harmony, a confederacy of Satan’s forces. ‘And shall give their power and strength unto the beast.’

Thus is manifested the SAME arbitrary, oppressive power against RELIGIOUS LIBERTY, FREEDOM TO WORSHIP GOD ACCORDING TO DICTATES OF CONSCIENCE, as was manifested by the Papacy, when in the past [the Dark Ages] it persecuted those who DARED to refuse to conform with the religious rites and ceremonies of ROMANISM.

“In the warfare to be waged in the last days there will be UNITED, in opposition to God’s people, all the corrupt powers [once-Protestant] that have APOSTATIZED from the allegiance to the law of Jehovah.

In this warfare the SABBATH of the fourth commandment will be THE GREAT ISSUE [not China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Communism, Socialism, Islam, jihad and sharia law; not even racism, neo Nazis, home-bred terrorism, or QAnon conspiracies. etc.]; for in the Sabbath commandment the great LAWGIVER identifies Himself as the CREATOR of the heavens and the earth.

“Through the TWO GREAT ERRORS of the [1] the immortality of the soul and [2] Sunday sacredness, Satan will bring the people UNDER his deceptions. While the former [natural soul immortality] lays the foundation of SPIRITUALISM, the latter [alleged Sunday sacredness] creates a BOND OF SYMPATHY with Rome [who bitterly persecuted and desolated the Protestant Christians for over a thousand years in the Dark Ages!].

“The Protestants of the United States [not in Europe or anywhere else] will be FOREMOST in stretching their hands across the gulf [that once separated them] to grasp the hand of SPIRITUALISM; they will reach over the ABYSS to clasp hands with the ROMAN POWER; and under the influence of this THREEFOLD UNION, this country [U.S.A.] will follow the steps of Rome in trampling upon the RIGHTS OF CONSCIENCE.” – E. Faithfully practice, treasure above silver and gold, and learn how to defend your inalienable right to worship God according to dictates of conscience. This is what the very last GLOBAL warfare will be, starting in America and quickly followed by all nations!

YOUR CHRISTIAN HERITAGE DETERMINES YOUR ‘CHRISTIANITY’

“And it came to pass, that a whole year they [Barnabas and Paul] assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” Acts 11:26, KJV (for proper context, read verses 1-29).

Notice that the “church” here mentioned wasn’t yet identified by any specific designation such as “Anglican,” “Adventist,” “Baptist,” “Catholic,” “Evangelical,” “Methodist.” “Presbyterian,” or even “CHRISTIAN,” not until the Word says so.

This ongoing series of the prophesied or foretold—not preordained or predestined—‘falling away of the church,” i.e., already called “Christian,” is past, present, and future: it traces back to the earliest pagan and heathen religious influences and practices that gradually entered into the early church, its deceptively devastating and overwhelming power of amalgamation based on compromise that resulted in the early “falling away” that morphs into its prophesied spiritual state of confusion described in Revelation as “Babylon,” and its final shocking form as “Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots (her spiritual daughters) and the Abominations of the Earth,” made up of “the beast and his image,” in final desperate global confederacy with “the dragon and the false prophet.” All these religious and civil institutions with their respective isms will be arrayed against God’s authority as expressed and defined in His immutable law of Ten Commandments, His power and seal as Creator-Redeemer-Sanctifier definitively defined and embodied in the Sabbath of the fourth commandment, and against the last remaining faithful “keepers of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” They are the last and culminating purified “church of Christ” of the Desire of Ages.” For, “from the beginning faithful [not compromising, much less apostate] souls comprise the church of Christ on earth.”

Most certainly, not all who profess to be or claim to subscribe to a creed such as the Apostle’s Creed. etc.. are rendered from the same spiritual foundry and cast in the same mold, although Christians of the “primitive godliness” mold are. A. How can we tell? What are distinguishing differences/marks?
A. The Bible answers: “To the law and testimony: if they speak not according to this word it is because it is no light in them“ (Isa.8:20); “By their fruits you shall you know them”(Matt. 7:16-20); Jesus calls (not canonizes) them as “saints” because “they keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” and “have spirit of prophecy which is the testimony of Jesus” (Rev. 14:12; 19:10).

Now let’s trace back when and why the true followers of Christ and of His “church” were first called Christians.

“Christian, [Greek. Christianos, a. ‘a follower of Christ.’]. A name used FIRST in Antioch of Syria to describe a disciple of Jesus Christ (Acts 11:26). The text does not make clear WHO originated the term. It has been thought unlikely that it was adopted by the Christians [the true followers of Christ], although there is an ancient tradition that Evodius, the first bishop of Antioch, as the originator of the term. Nor is it likely that the name was coined by the JEWS [why?] for the Greek ‘Christos’ means ‘Messiah,” and the Jews would hardly call the disciples of Jesus ‘followers of Messiah’ [they rejected Jesus as the promised Messiah]. It appears that the term was FIRST applied to the followers of Jesus by the HEATHEN [such as the religion of the Roman emperors and their subjects were], doubtless as a nickname to express CONTEMPT, but to the Christian of became a name of HONOR. THE REAL CRISIS FACING AMERICA AND CHRISTIANITY

As has been said, “To be forewarned is to be forearmed,” that is, with the genuine warnings of Biblical truth, particularly prophecy. Otherwise, the counterfeit “forewarnings” do the exact opposite by satanic design—-they keep you distracted and transfixed on the craftily-designed decoys such as mysterious, sinister “deep state” shadowy cabals and “secret societies” controlling the world and such mesmerizing conspiracies, etc. Meanwhile, the real enemy of the people, the nation, and end-time Christianity is soon to manifest itself to the utter surprise of the majority, in fulfillment of Revelation 13.  Here under is an flashing indicator of what lies ahead (extract from Yahoo News 360, by Mike Beberness, editor, Dec. 24, 2020, titled, “Is the Supreme Court Primed to Rewrite Religious Freedom Laws?”

“What’s happening? When Justice Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed to replace liberal icon Ruth Bader Ginsberg on the Supreme Court just days before the presidential election, legal experts predicted she would help establish a new era of CONSERVATIVE DOMINANCE on the nation’s highest court.

“One area in which Barrett has already played a decisive role during her short tenure is in legal challenges to corona virus restrictions on houses of worship. Before Ginsberg’s death in September, the justices had narrowly sided in favor of LAWMAKERS who sought to limit attendance at churches…….

“The court’s decision to block New York [and similar decisions in several other cases] from limiting the size of religious gatherings has BROAD implications that could apply LONG AFTER the pandemic had ended, some legal analysts argue. In the past, laws that restricted the free exercise of religion were allowed to stand as long as they applied EQUAL standards to religious and non religious groups. The justices UPENDED that with their ruling, potentially.

“Perspectives [from other astute observers on this rapid developments]:

“The Court’s enthusiasm for religious rights only applies to Christianity.’  ‘To enforce a strict vision of the Free Exercise Clause [of the First Amendment] for some faiths and not others is a RECIPE for moral and civil DISASTER.’ Matt Ford, New Republic.

“The Court has created enormous room for religious objections to existing laws.’ – ‘For the past 6 years the Supreme Court’s RIGHT FLANK has wanted to REVOLUTIONIZE the law governing ‘religious liberty’ cases, in which a plaintiff who objects to following a particular law on religious grounds seeks an EXEMPTION from that law…..The court made this vision a REALITY.’ – Ian Miller, Vox.

“The Court will allow Religious Beliefs to take Priority over other Rights.’ – ‘Now. Instead of DEFENDING religious groups from discrimination, our nation’s COURTS are openly declaring that CONSERVATIVE RELIGIOUS VIEWS enjoy a PRIVILEGED position in the First Amendment ABOVE ALL OTHER RELIGIONS.’ – Tyler Broker, Above the Law.” (End of quote from Yahoo News 360).

Lest we forget what the ideals of the Founding Fathers regarding Religious Freedom and Liberty were, and are, I will begin including them in this space, beginning with this from James Madison, father of the Federal Constitution:

“Religion is not in the purview of human government. Religion is essentially DISTINCT from
civil government, and EXEMPT from its cognizance; a CONNECTION between them is INJURIOUS to both.” Letter to Edward Everett, 1823.

It’s high time to expand our spiritual lateral vision and sharpen and hone our spiritual knowledge, discernment and perceptions! Pray for the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit as you sink your shaft of investigation deeper into the mine of truth!! Bless all, NMF

FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK:  MITHRAISM, SUNDAY, THE LORD’S DAY, CHRISTIANITY, AND ROMANISM (Part VII)  “Cardinal Newman says:  Confiding then in the power of Christianity to resist the infection of evil, and to transmute the very instruments and appendages of demon-worship to an evangelical use, the rulers of the Church from early times were prepared, should the occasion arise, to ADOPT, to IMITATE, or sanction the existing rites and customs of the populace, as well as the philosophy of the EDUCATED CLASS……  “The same reason, the NEED OF HOLY DAYS for the multitude, is assigned by ORIGEN, St. Gregory’s master, to explain the establishment of the LORD’S DAY……..  “We are told in various ways by EUSEBIUS, that CONSTANTINE, in order to recommend the new religion to the heathen, TRANSFERRED into it the outward ornaments to which they had been accustomed in their own…..Incense, lamps, and candles, holy water; asylums, holy days, and seasons, the ring in marriage, turning to east [Easter Sunday morning worship services], images, ……are all of pagan origin, and sanctified by their adoption into the Church.’ – ‘Development of Christian Doctrine,’ pp. 371-373. London: 1878.  “Real SUPERSTITIONS have sometimes obtained in parts of CHRISTENDOM from its intercourse with the heathen, as PHILOSOPHY has sometimes corrupted her divines [church leaders], so has paganism corrupted her worshippers.’ Ibid, pp. 377, 388.  “The Church can CONVERT heathen appointments into spiritual rites and usages. Hence there has been from the first much variety and change, in the SACRAMENTAL acts and instruments which she has used.’  -Ibid, p. 379.”- (From “Facts of Faith,” Cristian Edwardson, p. 104. “So willing were the church leaders to adopt the POPULAR heathen festivals, that even HEATHEN authors reproached them for it. Faustus accused St. Augustine [prominent church father of the Romish church] as follows:

“You celebrate the solemn festivals of the Gentiles,!their calends, and their solstices; and as to their manners, these you have retained WITHOUT any alteration. Nothing DISTINGUISHES you from the pagans except that you hold your assemblies APART from them. – ‘Cited in ‘History of the Intellectual of Europe,’ Dr. J. W. Draper, Vol. 1, p. 310. NY, 1876.

“Similar reproaches has been made earlier, for Tertullian [another prominent church father] answers them, making the following admission:

“Others, with greater regard to good manners, it must be confessed, suppose that the sun is the God of the Christians, because it is a well-known fact that we may PRAY TOWARDS THE EAST, or because we make Sunday a day of FESTIVITY. What then? Do you do less than this? …..It is you, at all events, who have even admitted the sun into the calendar week; and you have selected its day, in preference to the preceding day [Saturday]….You who reproach us with the sun and Sunday should consider your PROXIMITY [nearness, closeness, likeness] to us.” – ‘Ad Nationes,’ Book I, chap. 13; in ‘Anti-Nicene Fathers,’ Vol. III, p. 123, ed. by Drs. “Tertullian had no other excuse for their Sunday-keeping than that they DID NOT DO WORSE than the heathen! But not only did the Church adopt heathen festivals but Gregory Thaumaturgus allowed their celebration in the DEGRADING manner of the heathen [pagans]:

“When Gregory perceived that the IGNORANT MULTITUDE persisted in their IDOLATRY on account of the pleasures and sensual gratifications which they enjoyed at the pagan festivals, he granted them permission to INDULGE THEMSELVES in the like pleasures, in celebrating the memory of the holy martyrs [?], hoping that, in process of time, they would return of their own accord, to a more VIRTUOUS and regular course of life.’ – ‘Ecclesiastical History,’ J. THE SECRET OF WHY THE SANCTUARY DOCTRINE IS IGNORED OR OPPOSED BY MAINSTREAM CHRISTIANITY

“Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man shutters; and shutteth, and no man openeth.” Rev. 3: 7, 8.

These “doors” refer to the door to the holy and door to the most holy places of the heavenly sanctuary where Christ has been ministering as our merciful High Priest since His ascension after His resurrection two thousand years ago in 31 A.D.

Of the faithful believers of the Advent Movement who were studying the prophecies, “None could fail to see that if the EARTHLY sanctuary was a FIGURE or a PATTERN of the heavenly, the LAW deposited in the ark on earth was and EXACT TRANSCRIPT of the law in the ark in heaven; and that an ACCEPTANCE of the truth concerning the heavenly sanctuary involved and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the claims of God’s law, and THE OBLIGATION OF THE SABBATH  OF THE FOURTH COMMANDMENT.

COVETOUSNESS BRINGS WEAKNESS AND SPIRITUAL DECLENSION AMONG GOD’S PEOPLE.

The name Achan means, “Achar, the troubler if Israel.” 1 Chron. 2:7, KJV. In the New Testament, the antitype of ancient Israel is the church, ekklesia, “the called out ones.” The generic church, like ancient Israel, is also of two classes: apostate Christianity who have done away with God’s law and worship an idol sabbath, as apostate Israel worshipped Baal, the Phoenician sun-god, and the remnant church who “keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” (Rev. 14:12) and “have the spirit of prophecy which is the testimony of Jesus Christ”(Rev. 19:10).

REMEMBER WEEKLY THE CREATOR’S MEMORIAL DAY

See Exodus 20 : 8-11. And God said: “Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a SIGN between them and Me, that they might know that I SANCTIFY them.” Ezekiel 20 : 12 (See verse 20).

To the remnant who are faithfully keeping the commandments of God and overcoming their transgressions of God’s Law by grace, the “sign,” which also means “mark,” or “seal” has already been “written” in their mind, because it has already been committed to memory.
